CHARDON TRIUMPH AT NATIONAL TRAINING AWARDS
Chardon Management Ltd, the Glasgow based management and training company servicing the hospitality industry, is celebrating its victory at the National Training Awards when they beat off companies across all industry sectors to pick up the coveted Providing Education and Training award.
At a glittering ceremony held in Edinburgh Castle on Thursday 5 November 09, Chardon’s Training division was triumphant, thanks to their novel “Numbers Game” workshop.
The innovative workshop which they devised trained Department Managers within client hotels across the UK, and has proven invaluable in giving their Managers a line by line insight and understanding into their own departmental profit and loss accounts, which they are individually held accountable for, and responsible for delivery.
As a result of the workshop, Managers are far more equipped to plan and execute spending within their agreed budgets, flexing spending and payroll based on forecasted revenue and costs, enabling them to deliver planned results , a particularly essential skill in these straightened times.
Commenting on the win, Chardon Director, Nicola Taylor said;
“We are delighted with this win, especially because it pitted us against training providers to all industry sectors, not just our own. It also proves that training senior managers at the top of organisations, is just as important as working with more junior staff members".
