Our sales strategy is successful because of our people. We focus on motivating our people and investing in training, an approach which works. Our sales team is at the heart of our business. Each of the sales managers is based in their own hotel but support each other as a network which, in turn, provides the best service to our clients.
Teamwork
Our sales managers work closely with their hotel brand sales organisation to develop business through key national and global corporate accounts and agency sales, as well as conference, group and wholesale tour operators.
On a local level, they develop a network of local corporate accounts which deliver revenue across the accommodation, conference and leisure segments. They are targeted to establish new business and develop key existing accounts through account development plans.
Local
Each sales manager plays a role in developing brand relationships within their geographical area and raising the profile of the hotel within the local market through networking and promotional opportunities.
A key part of the sales function is the development and delivery of the local sales and marketing plan.
Dedicated specialist
An important investment made by CML is a dedicated leisure and groups’ specialist who is targeted to deliver revenue across traditional trough periods through promoting and selling to the right group at the right time at the right price.
